🚔 We're proud to be backing National ASB Awareness Week. 🚔
This week marks National ASB Awareness Week, highlighting the importance of tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB) and supporting those affected by it.
At Redditch Police, our commitment to tackling ASB doesn't begin and end with this week. Working alongside our partners, we take action every day to address the issues that matter most to our communities. This week, our neighbourhood officers have carried out a number of joint visits with local housing officers, ensuring concerns are addressed together and support is provided where it's needed most.
We've also continued our work in Woodrow, alongside Worcestershire Public Health and a fantastic network of partner agencies, charities and volunteers. Together, we're tackling not only anti-social behaviour, but also the wider issues that can contribute to it, including poverty, health inequalities and the fear of crime. This collaborative approach is already making a real difference for local residents.
Inspector Richard Field said:"Anti-social behaviour is everyone's responsibility. While enforcement will always have an important role, lasting change comes from working together to tackle the long-term causes of ASB. By bringing together policing, local authorities, health services, housing providers, charities and our communities, we can build safer neighbourhoods and improve the lives of those who live there."
